Biggest Competition for Fashion Students by “World of Wearable Art” New Zealand.
World of wearable art (WOW) has started receiving entries for its most coveted yearly competition to be held in New Zealand.
The total prize money to be offered by organization is $165,000and the Supreme Award winner will receive at least $30,000 of cash including travel prizes.
In past many students from the top fashion colleges in India like NIFT, NID, JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Pearl Academy, IAM Gurgaon and others have been participating and some of them performed great at international level.
There are various rules that each design team will consist of a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 designers; there should be no business name and logo to be used instead the real names of designers are to be tagged in wherever required; the designed garments should withstand at least 20 wearings, all designers must be 18 years of age or above; Intellectual Property Rights should be taken into considerations.
The participants can create their designs using diverse materials like car parts, business cards, human hairs and all your wild imaginations can be put in, and there is no creative boundary.
